TRANSLATION

Tanabata is a festival held on July 7th.

On this day, people hang paper of many colors on bamboo and write their wishes.

In the night sky, you can see a river of stars called 'Amanogawa' (the Milky Way).

These two stars are called 'Orihime' and 'Hikoboshi'.

In the old story, the two stars meet once a year.

The night of Tanabata is very beautiful.
