太陽たいようの光ひかりは白しろく見みえますが、じつはいろいろな色いろのあつまりです。

光ひかりは目めに見みえない波なみのように、まっすぐ進すすむ力ちからを持もっています。

青あおい光ひかりは波なみが短みじかく、赤あかい光ひかりは波なみが長ながいです。

空気くうきの中なかの小ちいさなつぶは、短みじかい波なみの光ひかりをよくはね返かえします。

そのため、昼間ひるまの空そらは一面いちめんが青あおく見みえるのです。

夕方ゆうがたは光ひかりが遠とおくから空気くうきの中なかを通とおって来くるので、赤あかい色いろがのこります。
